Colt

This is a rare opportunity to own one of the nicest horses we've ever had in the barn! We've been on the fence on whether to even let this guy go, but we're considering it! Colt is by Blind Sided, one of the hottest reined cow horses out there with earnings close to a quarter of a million dollars with a huge resume including the open futurity reserve champion. Colt's grandsires are the legendary Peptoboonsmal on top and Playgun on the bottom. Colt himself is a finished reined cow horse with shows under his belt. He knows all the reining maneuvers, is a big stopper, has great turns and beautiful circles. He could go and do pretty much anything from reining, to cow work, or ranch riding just to name a few. Colt was among the top selling yearlings at the NRCHA Futurity sale commanding $65,000 when the hammer fell. You'll be hard pressed to find a more correct horse with the pedigree and training he has and temperament. He is absolutely the total package and jet black to top it off! We have not gelded him yet and he is a perfect gentleman and easy to handle. We are open to gelding him here before he goes to his new home if it's the right fit. If you're looking for a stallion prospect, Colt definitely has the talent to continue on the show path. He's derby eligible and will be a top contender every time he walks in. He has a huge personality that perfectly compliments him. He's a special horse in every way and he knows it like all the great ones do. He has taken all of the other things that we do desensitizing in perfect stride. Tarps, flags, obstacle course, atvs nothing has phased him. Once-in-a-lifetime doesn't come close to describing Colt, we've literally had the good fortune of owning more than 1,000 horses over the years and we've never had one like him! We have a current vet exam as well as a complete set of radiographs.
