Duke is a dazzling AQHA gelding that is an absolute pleasure to have here at the ranch. He is a finished reiner and not over shown. He’s an NRHA money earner and enrolled in the NRBC, he can do all the reining maneuvers and is very talented. This athletic gelding won’t last long and we’ll be sad to see him go, but excited that he can go to one of our wonderful customers! Duke may be an exceptional arena horse, but he can ride outside as well. We exposed him to our program and his intelligence and disposition really shined. Most reiners are never exposed to these kinds of things and Duke took them in stride. He was exposed to tarp, trails, walk-trot-lope with the flag, drone, the big ball, riding double, turkeys, dogs, atv, and the water. He’s more of a push, and makes timid or beginner riders feel at ease.This guy has some of the best names in the industry on his papers. A quick recap would include Colonels Smoking Gun “Gunner” an NRHA Hall of Fame 10 Million Dollar Sire. Gunner was so special that Breyer made a special edition model of him! How exclusive is that?! Said to be one of the best ever in the industry. Nu Cash also said to be one of the greatest stallions of all time, an NRHA Hall of Fame inductee as well and a Equi-state Elite 2 million dollar sire. NRHA 3-Million-dollar sire Nu Chex to Cash is included on this list and is also an NRHA Hall of Fame Member. Moving along to Gallo Del Cielo or “Rooster” is a 3-million-dollar sire and has produced foals that have earned close to 8 million dollars across different disciplines. He has thrown some of the top cow horses in the industry and is well known for his athletic abilities and skill. These are just a select few names from Duke’s papers so we see a pattern of greatness just from these names. It is no surprise to us though, we could have told you how outstanding this horse is before we ever saw the papers. This combination skill, looks, intelligence, athleticism, confirmation, and breeding is extraordinary and very limited.
